Why ktoacidosis incentive coma?

Is it because of the pH of the blood? What exactly happens to the brain during ketoacidosis. Help!
The moving parts that I have doesn't give the impression of being complete. I have tried various books.
I know that there will be an increase within ketone bodies, how the ketones are toxic and it decrease pH.
So? What exactly happen to the brain that causes coma? The answers I enjoy found so far are so very uncertain.
Help!Why ktoacidosis incentive coma?
its hard to explain. the bodies actual buffer system is out of action, therefore throwing alot of things out of wack. the most important buffer system affected is the respiratory. it shuts down surrounded by ketoacidosis causing a end in breathing cause a cardiac problem causing the actual coma and save artificially helped beside the means of a respirator the pt dies.
The brain desires glucose and cannot function with ketone bodies as the solitary energy source. The creature goes into coma within severe ketosis. This coma if mismanaged can be fatal. In recent years death due to diabetic ketoacidosis have almost disappeared.
