Why do you hold to be 110 lbs to donate blood?

i recently go to donate blood for the first time, and was denied as a result of my solidity, even though for my height my cargo is healthy. Why do you hold to be 110 lbs to donate blood?
because they other take one and the same volume, yet a smaller size creature has smaller number blood, so they would end up taking a greater percentage of your blood.
You are probably slightly healthy, but blood donation take a bit out of you. Since you are light surrounded by pounds, they were probably too alarmed of any risks. It's not you--it's them. They're just covering their butts. . . .
they will other take duplicate amount of blood from you, no matter your counterweight..and weight (body mass) and volume of blood within your body are correlated
if you do not weigh alot, that means they are taking a greater percentage of your blood (because you enjoy less blood contained by you), and this may leave you skinny, dizzy and you may black-out.
their number one priority is your safety...so they would fairly not risk hurting you for your blood
hope this helped :)
This is because surrounded by most cases the less body mass you hold the less blood, and a greater risk of you blacking out on them.
Because they're taking indistinguishable amount of blood out of everybody, and that in you pipsqueaks is too substantial a percentage of your total blood volume. Oddly, if you were a lardass and have no more blood to speak of, you'd probably be OK, since it's a rule that's pretty well arbitrarily (rather than sensibly) adhere to.
